Same thing different reaction

Few weeks ago, I saw a sleep in basket for pet selling at a bargain price in a shopping mall. cost only $10. I bought 2 of them without hesitation.. one for the little rascals to share another one for ah sky of course...

Few days later, I brought along the new bed for Ah sky when I went over to my mum's house.

Ah sky, as usual looking unexcitedly at us as we, the two legged fuss over his new bed and how me, the cheapo queen managed to get such a cheap deal...

We removed the bed from the plastic and lay it nicely for ah sky to test out his new bed.

Then we watched...

And we waited...

And this was his reaction. Sitting on his swivel chair with no intention to even move a inch off it to test out his new gift! Just staring at it..

Not even some tugging from mum manage to get Ah sky getting off the chair..

(okie sorry for lousy pic) He still refuse to get into the bed despite coaxing from us...

I thought to myself: Ah sky sure don't know how to enjoy life... My little rascals sure gonna fight over it... While my father nag away on how I waste money buying such things that cat don't appreciate..

The little rascals seems pretty curious about it.. they started sniffing around even before we peeled open the plastic

Orange also joining in the sniffing session once we open up packaging... Not a bed response.. definitely better than Ah sky..

But to my dismay... that was what they did for the next few days... sniffing around the perimeter of the new bed and not even stepping in to try out...

Just as I was feeling despair that I really wasted my money, my sister sent me an MMS..

Our Ah sky finally decided to give the new bed a try out and quietly slip in and settle himself comfortably.. according to my sister, he seems quite shy about it. He seems to get awkward if he was caught sitting in the new bed and quickly get out of it.. weird ah..

Our Ah sky in denial state: Who says I like it.. its not really that great actually..

Well, at least some cat finally appreciate it

While others appreciate it in other ways... Today found Orange sleeping into the bed... but on closer look its actually upside down! Somehow, he decided that its more comfy to sleep on the bottom of the bed and without the cushion that comes with it.

Oops did i see a small hole there...can you see it? Tsk tsk... I wonder how long this will last...

Everybody gets HiGh...

It seems like everybody is getting high these days. Went back to my mother's house few days ago. Reached the front door and began to call out to my father to open the door. Afar came the tingling sound of the liong liong... Yeah along came my ah sky strolling towards me as a way of greeting! He sat in front of the gate staring at me and gave me a ~Meow... Hehe my sudden urge to go toilet to relieve my bladder gone... smitten by him... Never thought he will still remember to welcome me this way again...

The Previous time I went back home... Ah sky was angry with me. Perhaps he was upset I didn't visit him for a long time (vacation mah). So angry he was, he gave the the cold shoulder, refusing to see the presents I bought for him all the way from Japan. Ran and hid underneath the bed the whole day! Next time should take a pic of him with the gift I bought...

Nowadays been hearing my sister mentioning that Ah sky has a new hobby. I swear if he has a life insurance policy, the premium is sure to increase. He's taken a keen interest in climbing high. Perhaps he find it less challenging staring at the bird bird or doing his night guard duty watching out for lizards or cockroaches... as requested by my father.

According to my sister, they would suddenly find ah Sky MIA* then started to search for him... Sensing that he's being searched, he gave a ~meow from his new found favourite spot... he would stayed put in that favourite spot and start to panic when he wants to come down since its too high... ended up begging to be rescued by my sister! Hai... talk about being challenging :P

This is my sister's wardrobe. Just a ordinary one with few junk dumped on top of it. An ordinary furniture that became the adventure for ah sky for that day. Anyway can you spot him?

Yup he climbed up the wardrobe and stayed up there looking at us. His way of telling us: Nah Nah Ni boo boo.. you cannot catch me... My sister said to ignore him as he will beg for us to save him when he wants to come down. Of course I seize this opportunity to take photo since its not everyday I see him in such an act...

~Meow are you taking picture of me? come.. come closer so you can see where I am.. Look its such a chicken paw climbing up here.. Don't ask me how its a secret... Not gonna let Orange and Lala know the trick... (Bet u gonna tell them if I tell ya)

Love the space here... Must make use of this small corner here and mark it my territory before mama start to put more junk up here... Airy and quiet but a bit hard to lie down... Next time must try to bring my favourite mattress up here as well keke.. Oh ya do remember to mention to Orange and Lala that I climbed up the wardrobe leh... I bet I beat their record yeah yeah.. Im the champion!

Ah sky's not the only one polishing his climbing skill.. perhaps there's a upcoming climbing competition and they are practicing hard... knowing their act will be mention in this blog.. this way they can get to see who's the winner...

Lala: Mummy u see I climb up so high can win Big bro sky anot ah?

Mummy: Ah sky climbed up the wardrobe leh yours only fridge how can fight?

Lala: ah like that still not high enough? seems very high to me leh... err... I feel giddy already must come down already...

Lala: Oops how to come down help help mummy... Orangy a little help here pleeasee...

Orange(lying on the kitchen floor): Been there done that... Gave a lazy yawn... What a copycat! Can you try something new and not follow in my paw step?? Im gonna take my cat nap.

What climbing competition? So boring... How about we compete on who can eat the fastest haha I sure win.. or who has the longest tail.. Sky bro sure loose... Wah hahaha... erm... my tail longer than Lala rite? hmmm where's the ruler?

Beautiful Day it was...

Beautiful day it was today so glad its already my post night off... Or rather yesterday keke... Looked out of the window and this was what I saw...Look at the beautiful blue sky... see that streak of cloud arch across the sky... its as if a plane just flew past leaving trail of its mark behind... I thought of my Ah Sky and I wonder if he was enjoyed the view like I did...
Princess Lala and Orange was up and early.. Looks that they are also enjoying the wonderful view as well!

Hmmm.. Orange seen standing proud staring to the sky as well... Plotting a way to climb out of the window for a better view perhaps?
