Orange the survivor!

Hey more update of me again.. Heh heh... LOvE being the limelight.. especially when Im not even working hard to get it.. hai what can I say.. *they SiMpLy adore me...
(Pic taken today)

*Read that twice to ah sky hehe...

Orange went for his surgery to remove his metal plates and screws two days ago on the 15th. This time we had a really really hard time coaxing him into the carrier. Had to practically forced him into it. Guess he's finally linked the carrier with trips to clinic hence the fear and resistance. After a few words with the Dr Dennis... I left orange in the hospital with a heavy heart.

Surgery won't be so invasive as compared to the previous one. Another incision will be made, fur will be shave again. Reliving of the scary experience once again. By 8pm that evening we brought a groggy but alert orange home. On the way home in the car, Orange started to get really restless kept using his head to bang against the metal door of the carrier. Fearing he will hurt himself, I had no choice but to let him out and carry him on my lap. He looking frantically at the interior of the car environment and at the same time distracted by the moving motor vehicles outside.

As usual, we arrived home with our princess Lala not aware that her bro orange had just came back from surgery. She hid under the table looked wearily at Orange who was walked wobbly towards the living room. She did what she does always when felt threaten~ Hiss... then ran away... Its all back to square one.. I was telling Mr Lim. Just have to isolate Orange in a room for few days.

Lucky its not as bad as we predicted. This time our Lala managed to remember the scent of Orange and by next day, they are back to normal. Orange was also surprisingly was walking, running and standing on two hind legs as per normal. Its as if he didn't go through the surgery. My best pal who came to our house yesterday didn't even realise he had gone through the surgery the day before! I must say their healing ability is simply amazing! If only humans have such healing ability, we'll be able to shorten the hospitalization stay and not face shortage of bed so often...

Exhausted Orange asleep on one of his favourite spot the next day after the surgery.
Many thanks to Dr Dennis from mount pleasant animal hospital for his excellent surgical skill and patience with my many many questions.

He even remembered to returned me the metal plates and screws like I requested. I shall keep them as remembrance for the pain and suffering Orange had gone through due to our negligence.

Today was such a sunny day. The little rascals are sleeping together as Im typing this blog. It rare to catch them sleeping together and I waste no time in capturing it!
Seeing them snoozing away side by side was a rare sight on a hot sunny afternoon by the window... Perfect bonding for the little rascals.. Tender sweet moment for me to remember why I love them!
Seems like our Princess Lala also has a soft spot for her brother not all the usual spoil brat... She doesn't seems to mind Orange taking advantage of her by placing his leg on her body. Three cheers for Lala... Yeah!!

Orange and Lala cuddled onto Sally the basket, dozing off..

Oh ya, take a closer look at Sally the basket.. condition not getting better this days.. and the little rascal are sure working hard on it..

Kukwa,

Really breaks my heart to see the newly stitched up wound on Orange again. So heart-wrenching to see the crews and metal plate. But I must say Orange's been a very brave boy! Kudos to him. When will i get to see him again? Chinese New Yr? Been so busy lately hardly get a chance to go your place. Happy to hear it didn't take Lala long to accept Orange. All the best and wishing Orange a speedy Gonzales recovery!
