Mysterious feathers...

They looked on with keen interest as their two legged woke up from her afternoon nap and slowly walked towards the corrider into the living room...

Do you think she saw it?

Yeah I think she did.. look at her face..

Sorry no picture taken of my facial expression as to what I saw before me... I swear if the little rascals could use their paw to use the camera, I bet they would take a picture for me...

Bet you can't tell what's that from this shot... same as me... until I decided to take a closer look

And I realised that its a feather.. and it look like it belong to a real bird...

And more feathers... Scattered over the dinning area...

Fearing the worse, my heart goes out to the poor soul of the owner of these feather... Its such a puzzle how the bird flew into my house as windows were not open except for the top part of the window plane. Strangest thing was, I couldn't see any blood and where is the bird?

I frantically went through the house looking at every secret spot I could think of dreading to find a half eaten bird or remains of it...

Coudn't find any... I decided not to touch the "crime" scene and wait for Mr Lim to come back. Mr Lim came back and was as puzzled as me.. He started to vacuum the feather when he noticed something on the floor.. Small streaks of dried blood on the floor.. very faint which explained why i couldn't see it in the first place.. Mr Lim and I concluded that:

Birdie must have somehow flew in from the top window plane and of course was earnestly "welcome" by the little rascals.. After some struggle between Orange and Lala on who should be the perfect host for the birdie, they accidentially tugged out some of birdie's feather... Angry and annoyed with the hospitality, Birdie flew off where he came in..

Yup, that must be how it happened rite? Oh, my Orangie and Lala are such gentle creatures (ignore the previous entry) they wouldn't think of attacking a harmless birdie rite.. and Im not in denial state okie..

Anyway, to give others the benefit of doubt, we still have to carried out some checks. See nails were cleaned no stains of blood or feather stuck there.. So can't be Orangie..

Lala, simply couldn't get near to her... that girl must be guitly of something according to Mr Lim..

Hmmm, I think I smell birdie on Orangie you know...

They can't be trying to eat the birdie rite? Oops that did not come out from my mouth...

Somebody's up to no good...

You know someone's been up to no good last night the moment you see this... Or this...For those of you who still doesn't have a clue what is that.. You are either living in a pampered sterile environment or my camera is really lousy...
Anyway this should give you a clearer picture... Looks like somebody gobble up this poor unfortuate Mr Cockroach and end up not able to digest it... Leaving it for the morning two legged to clear up the mess..
As usual, I have nobody's oweing up.. Leaving me to wonder if its...
Lala who is taking a lot of interest in the plastic bag and claiming it her territory at that moment...
Or Orange lying who is enjoying the coolness of the floor and looking at me lazily as I clear up the mess...

Well, Im betting my dollar its Orange thought.. how about you? Haha looks like my lastest blog and the previous one has a similiarity... Somebody's vomitus..

My long overdue blog entry

That ain't a mole its a strawberry seed that got suck on Orange's nose. He gotten curious with the strawberries I was eating this morning and decided to give it a sniff. Guess he didn't like the smell of it and back off.. If only he would do that to all other food stuff haha..

Anyway decided to give the little rascal their long overdue bathe... Been using a new shampoo goat's milk and green tea shampoo for them and it smells really good!
The green tea smell will stay on them for at least 3 days leaving their fur so soft and smooth.. Feel like using it on my hair...

After their bathe, they went on to obessive cleaning of themselves and somebody decide to vomit out their breakfast... probably due to the accumulation of cat fur he or she swallow...
Yah I know its gross bet you can easily guess whose tummy it came out from...

Orange looking rather ruggard and slightly puffy after his bathe..

Lala the ever complete neat freck princess almost done with her grooming...

Who's the Smarty?

So who's smarter when it comes to food? Orange or Lala? Orange the well-known to gobble up his food in less than a min or the Posh Lala who enjoy savouring her food slowly while watching out for the ever hungry Orange? We put them up to the test...

Test: A biscuit place in a spot they are not aware of. Test of their hunting skill

Winner: The one who sniffs out the biscuit first

Hmmm... Starting of video, seems like our ever hungry Orange is in the lead. Yup he smells something and is following where his nose is taking him. Oh he's so near to the biscuit and yet he's staring at the window and flicking his tail slowly?? Tsk tsk... After figuring out that the smell not coming from the window, he decided to turn Left instead to Right side where the biscuit is... what a waste... (disappointed "OOHH") Still he doesn't give up.. Our Orange is dead sure the biscuit is somewhere nearby and he decide to sit down and slowly analyse it... All the time sniffing and twitching his nose looking up down left right... Looks like Orange's strategy is to go slow and steady ah...

Oops... here comes Lala. She might be a tad slower than Orange but she caught up with him.. She gave the camera a good sniff to make sure biscuit is not hiding in Mummy's hand. Our Orange still looking cool and calm not at all threaten by Lala.. Who will find the biscuit??

Lala's strong sense of smell has led her straight to the spot! And she took less than 10 seconds to find it! Poor Orange could only look on helplessly as Lala munch on the biscuit. Hopeful Orange still went up to the spot to see if they still any biscuit...only to have the close up blissful look of Lala licking her mouth away.. Feeling defeated he walks away...

Later when asked how did Lala find the biscuit in such a short time here's what she said: "Oh you know me... I savour my food slowly and take the time to smell them unlike others who only gobble up their food..."

Hao Lian (Arrogant) Ah sky and other updates..

Its been a long time since I last update my blog. Taken lots of photos past few months and been making empty promises to myself to upload them on the blog... Well today's blog bit of a rojak..

First of all, an update on our King of the 3 cats.. ah sky
Mama's been doing her usual spring cleaning of the house without success. She was about to throw away a box when she realise that Ah Sky had taken a liking to it..
Well box strike off the list of to be thrown.. now upgraded as a private property of Ah Sky. Mama even make the effort of making it comfortable for him by placing a cushion inside..

He's just so proud to show off his new place... Strolling to the box and settling himself there acting nonchalant as I click my camera away...

Just what is he up to now?

This is a new pan that mama bought for me.. seems like Ah sky has taken an interest in it too...

First he tried resting the front part of his body into the pan for a feel...
Feeling satisfied, he squeezed himself into the pan and refused to move.
But soon he was distracted by a plastic bag beside him and he decide to play with it but still not moving out of the pan.

What? Can't I have some fun?
Meanwhile its been havoc at home as usual..
Who else but our Princess Lala throwing her tantrum to fit of anger when she heard of Ah Sky's new property..

Can you see what I see?? No.. not the disgusting foot dangling by the van's door.. and no its not a dead body either...

Yes.. look its a white cat. I've been eyeing this cat(guessing its a female) since the day I've been staying in my new house. Apparently she belongs to the family staying behind that window on the 2nd storey. Have seen her jumping out from that window with another black cat.. Was shocked the first time I saw it.. Then I realise that they just enjoy sitting on the parapet looking at the world go by... I wonder how many people notice the cat. Don't think I'll ever let my little rascals pop out of the window even if I stay on the 2nd storey. Mr leg by the door was sure staring at me as I took pictures of this cat. I think he thought I was taking pictures of him as he start giving me a dirty look.. Ooops..
Woo... its an egg...

And it belongs to Ah Sky...He sure is guiding it like his precious thing even when he's asleep.. Don't think he's really asleep though.. He just pretending to be sleeping.. Eyes are half close.. ever ready to snap at anyone who tries to steal his precious.. hmm sound familiar?

Oh look who's this?

Well, I name him Skippy.. He's the 1st friendly Punggolian cat I've seen so far.. Rest of the cat (not many only seen 2 so far) are so timid/shy they scatter away when I saw them.. He just walked up to him asking for a good rub on the head so I gave him some treats. Good thing he's been sterilized.. Think there must be a group of cat welfare team somewhere near this area.. Great job guys! Hope to be able to see Skippy more often..

Work disrupted..

Mummy has been hogging on to my favourite chair for the past few weeks. Don't know what she's doing but she's sure making a mess on the table. What's with the newspaper? Is she still looking out for our pictures? She simply refuse to move when I meowed relentlessly at her. So I waited one corner patiently and the moment I saw her standing up and walked out of the room...

I sat on it. Of course she doesn't too cool about it. She complained to Daddy how sneaky I was.. then she gave me a grumpy look...Me? I returned back the grumpy look as well.. protesting that my need is more important than hers.
Then not wasting any time, I act busy so she can't shoo me away haha..

Lala decided to find out what's keeping mummy so busy...

She decide to help relieve Mummy's workload by helping her to go through her notes and list out the important points.

Must enjoy my moment of victory as mummy had no choice but to push another chair to sit on.
However she realise that its difficulty to hold a pen or type in her notes using the keyboard

She decide to sit on the newspaper and wait for Mummy to come back and try to discuss with her.

Mummy seeing the both of us occupying the area, decide to call it a day and went out to watch TV...

We're on newspaper!!

Hey guess what, we're on yesterday's newspaper and a winner too! Mummy was so proud of us she generously open my favourite can food for dinner yummy! hehe.. Lala look kinda upset though.. as she is unhappy with mummy for choosing this photo of her looking so grumpy so un-glam she was complaining away..
