Today was a super sunny day which calls for bed sheet sun tanning time to kill those nasty germs and dust mites..


Looks like Lala is also enjoying the healthy dose of sun shine too..

一山比一山高

This was the cat condo I bought for the little rascals 3months ago and its a luxury 5 storey high cat condo sorry too lazy to take the final completed look.



As usual, our humble orange choose to sleep at the bottom most level most of the time..



Lala as usual living up to her air of elegance choose the highest spot and dozed off..

I was always feeling sorry for Orange and wondering why would he be contented with the ground level when there's so much space to explore up there..



I was delighted to finally catch Orange snuggled up inside the 3rd storey cat house one afternoon...






but as usual.. Lala just have to grab the top level

Oh well, so long they are using the cat condo and making it worth the money I spend on.. I guess I should leave them to sort out the territory spot..

Settling down

You don't have to look hard to spot Orange but you might need to in order to spot Lala. That's how the little rascals were like when they arrived at my Sis' house 3 weeks ago. Hiding and look all sulky and lost.

Now at present...


They seem to have settle down nicely and faster than I expected.


Looking out at the front gate and perhaps wondering where's the scenery they used to enjoy.
The little rascals also seem to have take a liking to the bomb shelter. In the initial days, they were all humble and shy squeezing in the dark corner underneath the shelving racks.

After getting accustom to the bomb shelter, they wasted no time to "chomp" their favorite spot.
Can you spot them?
Hint: ground level and 3rd level.
You gotta be a Lala fan to be able to spot her. Anyway she chosen to hide behind a stack of magazines to enjoy her solitary moments. It's typical of her to choose a higher deck as if to remind us of her royalty..


Our ever humble and easily contented Orange has decline the option of upgrading to remain at the ground level.
He seem to be able to sense a strong dose of testosterone from the army bag and has decided to reside there.
Doesn't he look macho like a big boy doing his guard duty protecting Her Royal Highness?

This entry was suppose to be published one month ago.. But there's some irritating bug on the blog app (after I upgrade to IOS 6) and somehow this posting got lost in cyberspace.. Manage to track it down..

Today's blog seems like a mix in between my mummy and the little rascals blog. Well I decided to post it in the little rascals since its Lala who makes me decide to write this post.

It's a lazy Sunday morning and I was just enjoying some playtime with JH while JX was taking his morning nap..

JH and I were playing in the "cave" (under the dressing table) and I was happen to focus on the window. Lala lying next to the window enjoying the morning and I suddenly felt nostalgic...

Enjoy the view and sunshine while you can Lala one week from now, the house will be gone..

I started to focus on what's outside the window.. I realized its been a awful long time since I gazed out of the bedroom window.. I used to love the bedroom window.. The greenery lush seems like a tropical jungle if I can minus the traffic sound coming from the expressway.

The little rascals will be having a change in environment one week from now. I sure hope they will be able to find new suntanning spot in my sister's house while waiting for new house to be ready..

I look forward to more butt kicking actions from the both of them fighting for new spots in my sister's house..

It's only a platonic relationship

It's complicated... hard to describe the relationship of the little rascals that have developed over the years..

Sometimes when I see fresh clams of fur on the floor, I knew they are not all nice and loving to one another...

Other times like now they just make me sigh and smile at the way they snuggle against one another for warm and sharing the space..

Or were the tangled leg and paws an aftermath of an earlier fight for space that I didn't see?

Enjoying some Meow time without XBD

The little rascals are looking all relax and taking time to enjoy the time of the day without XBD in the house!

Show Me Some Love!

小钸点 is 16 mths old. My life is still like a roller-coaster as I struggle to catch up with his ever lasting energy span.

Gone were the days where the little rascals roam about the house freely. These days they retreat to my bedroom and stay under or rather on cover throughout the day only to come during the evening time when we were at home or they know it's safe...

Pathetic you might think.. How could I bear for the little Rascals to be coop up in the room the whole day..


Perhaps not.. Little rascals sure know how to enjoy life while staying undercover.. By sleeping on our bed the whole day!! Much to the (silent) protest of Mr Lim! 反对无效..

These days 小钸点 is starting to show me that he too can be nice to the little rascals.. at least in front of me.. No worries for those animals activist.. all cats are in no way harm.

Even Ah Sky is not spare at my mother's house.


Ah Sky seem to have a soft spot for kids though.. he patiently sits there for 小钸点 to practice showering him with love the correct way.. how much strength to use where to stroke..

Its a rainy day!

Bummer! It has been the rainy season and ah sky feels the chill in the air


Seems like it has been leaking raindrops in the house too.. Poor ah sky had to resort to hide underneath the umbrella



He decided to stay put and wait for e rain to stop



The rain doesn't seem to stop and soon ah sky got tired and start settling himself in a more comfy position



And then he doze off and fell asleep..

Xiao bu dian's new buddy

XBD got a new buddy!! He's abt 70cm in height and has yellow strips with long limbs n kinked tail..

Meanwhile, XBD has been busy making his new buddy feels welcome by biting leaving his drool all over

Basking in the sun

It's a sunny saturday morning and Orange has the best spot to do some sun basking.



Gone are the ugly and dirty looking wire mesh after Mr Lim and I finally decided to spend a small fortune to install window grills on all the windows

By the way the width of the window grills are 2 and half inch apart as recommend by one of the blogger kootoomonster! Now no more fear of the little rascals falling out of window. It's definitely money well spent


Lala also doing her sun basking while checking out my bag.



Orange looked so contented cleaning himself... Hmph of course lah he has finished his daily routine of meowing after us to feed him and just finish his meal!

Yeah I can update my blog on my phone!

Yeah I finally figure out how to update my blog using my phone!! Yes I finally got myself an iPhone.. yaya I knw I did criticize iPhone 1 year ago but iPhone 4 is different cos it's camera is 5 megapixel! Hehe now I can update my blog after I taken a pic.


Did u all miss lala? It took her 4 months to get use to having my mum around the house. Now she's like last time relax n lazying around the house.

U know it makes me feel sad whenever fren come n tell me now I got xiao bu dian I dun want the little rascals anymore. That's not true!! Yes I do admit I spend lesser time with them but I still make it a point to sayang them whenever I have e time..



Well XBD is getting active day by day.. Diaper changing n bathing him is a challenge as I think of new ways to keep him still with toys. Yes it's tiring n I'm seriously deprive of social cum personal time. but I'm happy.. A different kinda happy I have never experience before..

Three months on..

Xiao Bu Dian is almost five months old now and I have since return back to work. I am still religiously breastfeeding him day and night whenever possible... If anyone were to ask me what is my current hobby... U know the answer.. Yup.. BREASTFEEDING and EXPRESSING breast milk. Yes it is really hard work but like all mothers I'm gonna say something cliche.. When I look at him now.. I know its all worth it!!

Am thankful for colleagues who are understanding enough to allow me the time to do my "business" at work.. Hope I be able to make it to his sixth month after that can relax don't have to be so paranoid like now.. To Mr Lim thanks for being so understanding during these period of time I know u are trying to lighten my burden a lot of times.. We just have to tahan for another month more after that I promise I won't be so rigid about it okie!

Mum has been a great help since I started working. Glad we are able to come to a mutal agreement without comprising XBD's welfare so now able to focus on work better.

Lala has finally come to accept my mother's presence in our house. Yes it took her four months to get use to my mother and for her to roam about freely in the house when mother is around. No more hiding in the toilet cabinet haha

Orange the ever happy go lucky fellow has taken up his big brother role seriously.. he helps me watch over XBD when he's sleeping in the sarong... though it would be even better if he could help me rock the sarong haha..

Ah Sky on the other hand also accepted XBD as part of the family. He is resigned to the fact that he is no longer the centre attraction of the house.. well he still got the sweet side of him.. sitting near XBD on the bed Now that Im working, I treasure the free time I get to spent with him.. he seems to grow up so fast.. just realise today he's having difficulty fitting into the bumbo seat.. his fleshy thighs get stuck between the loop..

Yes if you realise there is no photo of Lala and XBD.. still haven't got the chance to catch her and XBD together.. She does comes up to sniff XBD but its so fast she scatter off quickly before I can take a shot of it.. I guess she slow to warm up to people like her mummy haha..

A ME moment while Xiao Bu Dian's asleep!

Finally had a glimpse of time to update my thoughts on events that has been happening in the past 2 months..

Yes I am delighted to announce I had safely delivered my baby boy on 10th of may! Life hasn't been the same and am still struggling at times.. motherhood instinct comes slowly for me as Im not a baby/children person..

House no longer look the same as Xiao Bu Dian's stuff are scattered everywhere...Sometimes when bb has fallen asleep (finally!) and Mr Lim and I were watching TV in the living room, I suddenly forget that I am a mother like life was like 2 months ago...

Nowadays we no longer take our time to eat dinner together. we now have to take turn to eat dinner so other one is free to handle Xiao Bu Dian who demands constant attention.

Little rascals seem indifferent to presence of Xiao Bu Dian. No hissing or biting coming from them... They only been sniffing around Xiao Bu Dian's feet and head and tottered away.. Looks like Xiao Bu Dian is not of interest to them. They just give me the blank startled look whenever Xiao Bu Dian decides to practice his vocal cords.. as if telling me he's disturbing the peace in the house..

I think little rascals were more disturbed by intruders in the house who were around in the day time to help me with Xiao Bu Dian.. During the 1st month, poor little rascals had been hiding in the toilet cabinet not because of Xiao Bu Dian but because of the strangers in the house.. Lala hit record by been inside the whole day. Only to come out from hiding place after 7pm. Orange however just seems to want his moment of solitary hence hid there not out of fear.

Oops Xiao Bu Dian's stirring in his bed.. better go attend to him before he does the you know what...
